Wow!

I just watched the weirdest movie I think I've seen in a long time.  It was like a B rated horror film from the 80's called The Sweetest Sting.  Was about a evil beekeeper who had this observation hive with vampire bees in it that would give you eternal youth if you got stung by them.  But in order to keep the new body the guy was given, he had to keep eating this "blood-honey" made by the evil bees and kill random people to keep the bees fed.  Freakin weird stuff!
Anyone see this?
First thing I thought of when I saw the Evil Beekeepr was Understudy!  LOL

Where are you from TRF??  I'm gonna get into an accident driving along NTH & OBSH there looking for Hives....people will think I'm weirder than I am...I saw lots of green hives at the end of Mundy Loss Rd, where it T's onto the road that goes to Wilkeson, they were on the R but it looked sort of messy...

It was actually an episode of the Friday the 13th TV series (very different from the movies). It probably aired on Chiller TV right after Tales from the Crypt. But they are different series.
My imdb link goes right to it.

Let's be truthfull, Buckley is (was?) the Washington State Department of Health Services home for mentally handicapped, that's what makes them so "Special."

Yeah, it was on Chiller TV on my Directtv satelite.  And yeah it was one of the Friday the 13th tv series show.  It was kinda stupid but I still watched the entire thing.
My favorite scene was near the end, these people were walking through the beekeeper's apiary at night and the hives were all arranged like tomb stones... with the fog and everything.  lol

The only movie that has beekeeping it it that is worth seeing, IMHO, is Urie's Gold.  It stars Peter Fonda as a beekeeper with adult kid problems.  The movie is okay, the bee scenes are great.

It is a great beekeeping movie, but isn't it Ulie's Gold?

Actually, its Ulee's Gold. Every now and then I'll watch this movie, cause I own it. Its a little slow in places because its a simple, down to earth movie, but its well done, and the bee scenes are great. Henry Fonda, Peter's dad was a hobbyist beekeeper and in doing this movie Peter revisited memories from his past, when his dad donned a jacket and veil and worked his bees. In the movie the primary nectar producer is tupelo, from the Florida swamps, this is Ulee's gold. BTW, tupelo honey is unique in that its effect on diabetics is not as severe as other honeys, because of its lower glcyemic effect on the body. http://www.tupelohoney.org/

Ya'll have a great day.
