Free Bees for NJ Residents

As a continuing program to increase new beekeepers, the dept of agg will announce today that 50 lucky new beeks ten years and older can apply for a "scholarship". Just go to their website and follow link to rutgers bee program which will be hels this april. The first fifty people who meet their qualifications will receive after passing the course $300 of equipment and bees!

Last year, they didn't have the grant to fund this. They did the year before, though. leave it to me to pick the off year. it's ok, though. I'm glad to have gotten started last year. :)
