Crush and Strain

Can someone tell me step by step crush and strain instructions. And wont it take a while for the honey to drain through cheese cloth.  :?

I do Crush and strain.
Today I went to my big hive I smoked the bees.Next I took out a frame of honey opened a five gallon bucket put the frame in cut the comb out let the comb fall in the bucket.Repeat with each frame til bucket was full. Put lid on
went home took a big potatoe masher mashed it up good.Put five gallon paint strainer over bucket.Pour honey in the stainer til full.Wait till it strains through repeat till done.

When using this method should I cut all the comb out or just cut the center out and leave about an inch of comb all the way around.

Leaving a row or two of cells is better.

The bees can then use that as a starting guide.

Sometimes you can scrape it down to the foundation, leaving the foundation in the frame. I got some hives with wired in foundation from another retired beek and did it that way.

But no you don't need to leave an inch all the way around. Just a bit of wax on the top bar will work.
