I has an ad on craigslist for swarm removal and I got my first call last week.  I was SO excited!!

The lady said she would meet me after work at her house; she said the swarm was about 18" off the ground and it had been there about 2 days.  I was still excited, but thought to myself that 2 days is starting to be a long time for a swarm to stay put, but continued to be optimistic and braved commute traffic for the 1 hr. trip to her house.  Sure enough, she calls me when I'm about 10 minutes away and says that the swarm had left; only a bit of comb to show that they had been there.

She sent me this picture that she had taken of the swarm the day before with her funny message. It looks like a good sized swarm and I'm sorry to have missed it.  BTW, is that the queen I see near the top edge of the cluster?
