It takes 16 fl. oz. to make a pound.

48 fl oz for three pounds.

sorry I had a senor moment ...  Its for bee candy ..  were my hives are its still to cool for feeding syrup ...
I know there is fl oz that is volume, and pound oz that is weight ...   most of the time they are not the same..
like 12 fl oz ( 1 1/2 cup )of honey is a pound by wt ,,, right ???
so I know 16 fl oz  of corn syurp is more then a pound by wt ..
now when it says a pound(s)of syrup ,,  should I go with 2 cups (16fl oz ) or ???
what do you use ???
I know there are some that just use sugar ,, but would like to try both ..

One pint of corn syrup is about a pound and a half.
