In my inspection of newly hived packages I installed on the 16th, I have cells with mulitple eggs in them.  I also have cells with developing larve about 1/4 inch long.  Seems to be a good pattern but am in question as to whether or not I have a laying worker.  I think I read some where that a newly mated queen sometimes lays multiple eggs in a single cell.  Just curious.

If you can see the egg in the bottom of the worker cell then it is not a worker laying it.
Sometime new Queens will lay more than one to the cell for a few days. She'll come around. doak

Wheww...yes the eggs are in the bottom of the cell.  I will wait a few days and look again.  I should have spent more time looking for her (the queen) but I was pressed for time.  Thanks for the replies.
