The girls are going gangbusters

I just added another box to my bees yesterday after only a little over 3 weeks since hiving the 2 packages.  I was really surprised to see the first box on both colonies almost full of bees after such a short time.  I guess it helped that I already had a medium box full of drawn frames for each package.  The Queens must have started laying a couple days after I hived them.  One hive was a little hot though.  That's what I get for inspecting them while some rainy weather was starting to move in.

wtiger.  Wonderful, 21 days from egg to hatch for workers, that would make some really good sense that you would have emerging bees and great building up, lovely, keep on keepin' on.   Beautiful day in this great life. Cindi
