Yet another swarm from a chemical plant. This time is was Cognis in Charlotte NC. I really think this was an after swarm. I combined them with a weak hive because I couldn't find the queen. The best part about this removal was seeing the Canada Geese and their gosling's.

awesome I work with alot of different chem plants and refineries usually the first thing they do is break out the wasp spray glad to see you were able to save these bees. most plants do not want the chance of a beek getting a recordable so they just kill them its a shame really

an OSHA recordable injury

A recordable affects their safety ratings
a recordable is any time your skin is broken or meds are prescribed broken bones and the such and of course deaths

JP

Ok, chemical plant jargon. Now I understand. On the other hand, I have had them call me in because they didn't want a stinging issue, or recordable as you say.
