Hi.  The bees have been in their new homes (2 hives) for one month now and seem to be doing OK. Bottom brood chamber is just about full and they don't seem to want my sugar water anymore.  Weather at night is still iffy here in NJ.  When do I remove the entrance reducer?  They seem to be a little crowded during the busy part of the day as they come and go.  It's almost like rush hour traffic but off hours don't seem to be too bad.  Your comments are appreciated.  Thanks,   Jester

It almost June and if the bees have 1 or more boxes of bees I'd remove the reducer.

I'm inclined to remove mine when they have filled enough of the bottom box without worrying about pests sneaking in the corners, and they're getting jammed up during the warmest part of the day.
