I got my 2 nucs 9 days ago on saturday evening, hived them the following sunday. I have been feeding them since I hived them. Both hives have taken 10 pounds each of sugar syrup.(Where is all this going? are they turning it into bees?)
I have inspected them since and all looks normal, their drawing out the foundation well.
My question is how long should I feed them for? They are 5 frame nucs that went into 10 frame deeps.
Should I stop feeding them after they draw out the other 5 frames of the deep?
If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it.

Feed as long as they will take it.  They are tuning it into was for comb and sugar honey. When the 10 frame super is 70 - 80% full (some say more) add another 10 frame super.  When two or more brood supers are near full start to add medium honey supers.

While they are hard at work read all you can here.  You can learn just about everything you need to know right here. :)
