last night a tree was blown down and a heavy branch knocked the hive crooked and opened the supers a little. I've lined up everything and put it back together. i did find the queen, the bees seemed aggrevated and were all over me, but no stings even with no clothing on, just a head screen, bare arms and legs.
? is do they usually go back to work after something like this happends? thanks.

Quotebut no stings even with no clothing on,

don't you love living where you can do such a thing??    you are brave!!!!

they will be fine.  it doesn't sound like they were to messed up.  even when the whole hive gets knocked over, they can go back to work as long as the queen survives and most of the workers are not killed.

they might stay stirred up for a bit.  leave them alone for a few days and let them get settled.

This hive is one of my strongest performers this year.

No, please don't, this is a family friendly forum.

Yes, they will get back to work.  Sounds like they got off easy.  Probably bothered them less than an inspection.
