A Taste of Honey!

I tasted honey tonight - from my own hive!!!!  And omg it was divine!!!!!  :)

We requeened tonight but we haven't had any eggs or larvae so I figured it was ok to try the honey in the hive :)  and YUM!!!  :)

I don't know why but I was almost surprised to find it tasted like....HONEY :)  lol!

Congratulations Jane! Its  GREAT to get some straight from the hive and lick it off your knife or hive tool, isnt it!

When I first took a beginning beekeeping class, the instructor "guaranteed" that our hives would make the best honey we ever tasted. He was right!
