How many members have this evasive taking over there area.  I never had much use for it and have pulled, cut and sprayed them by the 1000's.  I have made 15 or 20 gals of nice white wine with the red berries.  I am useing a clump of about 6 or 7 for my hives wind break.  They are multi stemmed and grow about  8ft high and 8 ft across.  Last night went checking my colonies I noticed that the bee's were all over them.  They blossom for only a short time but the girls dont have far to go.

Not sure if they are the same thing, but sounds like Russian Olive here.  Very invasive, spread all along streams, rivers, and canals.  They are covered in long thorns that will tear your hyde right off.  A short intense nectar flow produces a light colored, fairly fast sugaring honey.
