Now this may have been already been proven.
But in your observation which hive configuation stays cooler for the bees to control.
Peirco Frames or Wood Frames with foundation.
I have my theroy and some pic to show my theroy.
But what do you think? Plastic or Wax?

IMO, I don't think frame type matters.  I think a hive with a SBB/slatted rack/vented top (blah blah blah) would be cooler than a hive (of the same size) with a standard bottom board and sealed top regardless of the frame type.

Having something on the outside that reflects light and heat would keep things cooler.  As far as the frames go, the only way I see it might make a difference is if the air circulation pattern is different.

It's irrelevant, IMO.  What's cooler is a SBB, propping the top open, or sliding a box back enough to leave a gap or a slatted rack.

frames are shaded in the hive so how do they matter???? wood will collect moisture and plastic want so the added moisture just saves them trips to the watering hole, the outside is what counts I think, warm temps light colors and colder temp dark colors but mainly ventilation.. this is just what I have seen!!!!
