Well, I spent most of my day today, cutting out the larger area for one of my gardens.  Only got 2 of the hundreds of cinder blocks it will take to finish it placed, but at least it's started.  Can't wait to have all the extra space!  This will double the size of this particular raised bed, which will hopefully give me enough room for all the veggies I want to grow there.

Hey Sarge, you need to post some pictures so we can see what you're up to.

Will-do tomorrow.  Oh, I have a nice pic of a giant beetle I found hiding out in my rain barrel overflow... Well, it's not Amazon big, but it's definately Tennessee big.

Will add it in just a few seconds... soon as my phone sends it to my email...

Here's where I've been expanding the garden.  You can see the existing one... the new larger size will be slightly more than twice as big.  This is the upper raised bed.

And here's the tomato's with my new flowers planted close... they are in the lower raised bed.

I finally have a couple small tomato's on them, thanks to those flowers.  Oh, to the left, is the strawberries that have basically taken over.  I'm going to clean them out later this year... so if anyone wants plenty of strawberry plants, let me know.  They are a mix of june bearing and everbearing, but mostly junebearing I think.  Oh, and they're all about 2 years old.

SgrMaj.  Nice pictures, your gardens look lovely, good for you.  Best of a beautiful day, Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

Nice place for the bee hives.

They're actually quite terrible this year... I started going to college full time and just haven't had the time I used to, to weed and whatnot.
