Comments on the Verminators Show

Watched a show the other day filmed in Florida, they removed a  feral hive and made it sound like the darn bee's were SATAN SPAWN. Not once did they referance AHB, but it appeared from the show they were. The way it was presented most homeowners would be scared to death and end up killing ANY honey Bee's they find rather than even call a BEEK. I was SO angry!

They showed the film crew being chased and stung from 80' away. NO SMOKE WAS USED and the guy did'nt appear to have a clue what he was doing.

I wrote the show and complained that the really did a diservice to the entire Beekeeping world by presenting it this way. If you see it please do the same or we all stand to lose a lot of swarms that could be saved.

Yeah, it was dumb.  But that is what TV does - manufacture drama where it doesn't exist.

I'm sure you noticed that the beekeeper they gave the bees to didn't say a word on camera.

The sissies in bee suits running away from a few angry bees was pretty funny though.
