 Does anybody know if broomweed produces nectar or pollen in substantial amounts?

The chewed leaf juice has an intoxication effect on bees and can kill them.

But there's that common name menace again. Check against the Latin name to see if that's what you have.

well, THAT explains why my second batch of honey last year granulated so fast!
This is a tricky thread, huh?..In both your posts of broomweed, both of you have correct information.
I have acres of this stuff around my area and its fixin to bloom soon. I never ecen knew it existed and never even noTiced it until I GOT MY BEES .
