for later this winter.
Our stove is a great addition to any kitchen long as it just sets there. It's one of those glass flat tops.
we do use it all the time for a 915 pressure canner but it just dosen't get up to heat like the old ele stove.
I didn't like it from day one but we're stuck with it.when the sugar, water, vinegar mixture was about 240, for a while I thought i was going to have to take the mixture out side and fire up the turkey cooker to get 260., but after a while 30 minutes the temp finally got to 260.  the board is full and so are 3 glad sandwich holders. the candy taste good, it's like having my own sugar fix when my hands get shakey.

I've got everything here to take the pictures, but I'll have to wait til one of the kids or GKs stop in to post the pics. I'm lucky to be able to post with my H&P system.

Cant wait to see them but, why did you go with the candy board method and not mountaincamps method, which i think i am going to go with.

I made the board to kill a little time, it was to hot and muggy to cut wood and i had to hang around the house so figured this is something to do that wouldn't go to waist. I'll probably do mountaincamps method also.
