I am planning for next year, and since I have made the decision to convert to all mediums, I would rather not purchase nucs in deep equipment if I can help it.  My other option is package bees, which is fine, but I would like the advantage of spring nucs so that I have a grater chance to get some honey from the new hives.  Does anyone sell (and ship) medium equipment nucs?  If I might be so bold to hope that some may even sell and ship medium nucs of small cell bees?

If not, how have those of you who run medium equipment dealt with the issue of deep equipment nucs?

More and more suppliers are stocking medium nucs.  It's a win win for them.  They usually charge the same money and they get it for a few less bees.  They get more customers, since many people are going to mediums now.  You'll have to ask around.  I know fatbeeman ships medium nucs.

fatbeeman does.

I buy packages.  I don't know of anyone selling deep nucs let alone medium nucs here where I live.
