what honey bee will do?

where i live there is alot of wild cherrys  when thay are in bloom i do not see any honey bees on them why? will or can honeybee work the blooms?

They do work wild cherry, plum and the privets in my area.

Sometimes it depends if they have another source blooming that they prefer.

#2...Bees will work the most abundant.

#3...Bees will work one source until it is gone before moving to another source.

There may be a source they like better, a source they started on before the cherries bloomed, or a much larger source. Either would stop them from moving to the cherries.

Cherries and Pears, are not a high content sugar nectar. As stated, if anything else is better in the area, bees will work the more nutritious or higher sugar nectar source.
