Hi,
I was reading Nectar and Swarm Management  by Walt Wright (May 2006) and came across this and I do not understand.  Maybe someone here can answer?

"CB/NM induces supersedure beginning in your normal  swarm issue season."

My Question is... Why does this procedure induce supercedure?

Cheers,
Patrick

It is my understanding from reading up on NM that the queen is superseded more frequently because she lays more eggs in a shorter period of time accelerating the colony's need to replace her.

My guess is that even Walt doesn't know the answer to that.  He's just making an observation.
