OK, I was given this old bee hive.

Yes I know it's sad now.


But.
My friend Ralph had completely reconditioned my hive to like new!
I'll post pics when I go pick it up.

I bought a bunch of new wood parts at a supply place in Fairburn GA last weekend.
I assembled a bunch of the frames. Ralph had me get the black foundation for the brooder.
He says I can see the eggs better on it.

Nice hive! Bees like old wood, but they'll luv the newly reconditioned wood as well.  :-D
Yes, the black foundation is much easier to see eggs in, you're gonna like it.
