In S.E. NC and especially where I am there is supposed to be a lot of "Gallberry" shrubs/trees. I cannot find a very good source for what these look like. I've gotten images from Google and they are not great as far as being a definitive way to prove what I am looking for. Also there are a lot of  small yellow flowers blooming along the side of the roads that I cannot find the name for or if they are nectar sources. Not to mention "Tupelo Gum" (not the same as Tupelo from FLA) and "Black Gum" which are supposed to be good nectar producers.
If anyone know a great site for vegetation ID please pass it on.
