Mold

Need help.
Misplaced my hives(1st year) under a tree backed up to a fence and created very poor circulation for the hives,,,solid bottom boards and no top entrance
Lost both hives to mold!!!!!. I was worried about the wind I get here on Cape Cod and did not think circulation..

#1- how do I clean up the mold from my wooden ware.
#2- how do I clean up the mold from my perico plastics.
#3- is the honey that was left over still good(the unmoldy stuff I mean) and can I give that honey to my new packages this year.

Put bees in it.

The moldy and unmoldy stuff will be fine.  Give it to your packages.  Let them clean it up.

Give it all to the bees they will clean it all up for you. If you do not give it back to the bees the wax moths will help you out.

You prob did not loose the hive due to mold. You actually probably lost the hive due to other reasons and without the bees the mold then moved it.

Don't forget the top vent too, Imirie shim or the like.
