I have been lurking for about six years. I had bees with a friend, but moved to Miami,FL. I recently moved to a less populated area, and started a hive.
I am currently running Brushy Mountain equipment. SBB, Slatted Rack, Standard Brood Box, Inner Cover and Telescoping Top. I am running foundationless with wood starter strips. Eleven frames in a ten frame box. Calvert 3# package and Queen installed on 13APR2009.
