I found four shallow supers at my mom's house. All of them are wired for extracting, three have been on hives and the foundation has just been started to be drawn out. The one has been extracted and the bees cleaned it up. These were put in storage for the next summer but forgotten about. They were sprayed with moth repellent I had gotten from Kelley's, thick brown liquid that you mixed with water and then sprayed on the comb. These were stacked on the concrete floor with news paper in between the supers and a piece of plywood on top. The date on the news paper was 1988, yes in storage for 21 years. I plan on putting this on the swarm I caught on 4/29 since they have almost drawn out ten frames of foundation.

Sounds good, I'd go for it.  Stored for 21 years with wax moth repelent might be a record of some sort.

"thick brown liquid" sprayed on the combs would be Bt or Certan.
