Nice looking swarm Ken.  Is it one of yours?  My swarm came 2 days after yours last year.  I better be on he lookout.  Did it come to your yard or did you have to go and get it?

Congrats!

It may have been one of mine.Shortly after I hived it(about 40 minutes after I found it) another swarm came in to the same tree.I think the second swarm definitely was coming in from the east of my property. there was a dark cloud of bees everywhere and quite an enjoyable hum in the air. I was not fortunate enough for the second swarm to stay in the box.But I still got the first. It filled 1 and 1/2 medium with bees!!
I caught a large swarm in this tree last year.It must be my bee tree. Hope another couple come my way.

Good job on putting up that swarm.

Thats funny that they will come to the same tree, several swarms come to the end of my house for some reason.

    Sweet!  She's a looker!
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)
