Hi ,

I'm from Brisbane, Australia. I recently inherited several hives from my late Grandfather. Although I spent many childhood years helping with extracting honey and hive inspections  etc. this will be my first season going solo. I'm sure there is a lot to learn but  really looking forward to it.

David, welcome to our forum, wonderful that you found us.  We are having growing numbers of people from your country, cool.  Sorry to hear of the passing of your Grandfather, but he has given you a wonderful gift, something that you are obviously carrying on, for him....and yourself, that is a thing of beauty.  Here you will have a place to lean on others to learn, to ask questions, a place to tell your stories, tales and experiences, and make some new friends. STick around, we love new members.  Have that great day, to love and live this great life, health. Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service
