I am a new beek with only one hive so far.
My wife and I are grateful to the Capital Area Beekeepers for their "Short Course" which we enjoyed attending recently.
As a child with a stinging insect phobia I never would have believed I would be enjoying my "girls" so much.

Hello and welcome! You will meet alot of knowledgeable people here. You can ask any question and someone or someones will know the answer.
It helps though if you put your location into your profile so that when you ask a question they can answer to your specific area.
There are a ton of past threads you can search through and you will learn alot there as well.

Hi, I am new here myself, but what I`d like to ask is why did you start with only one hive? I was going to start with one too but was strongly advised against it as one can never say what`ll happen to the colony at any given moment, and as such few hive is a must to maneuvre in said circumstances. Please, let me know your opinion. Is your one hive too big?
