I have two hives and it took them a month to take down a miller top hive feeder to finish the sugar water! A whole moth..!
Well I filled it up on Monday thinking ohhhhh well give or take another month.. I checked today! Nothing!

It's been raining cats and dogs for the last two weeks here in Jersey.!  So the girls are using the time they spend in the hive to construct combs and expand the nest.  First deep 8 out of 10 drawn. second medium 7 our of 10 drawn.

tons of capped broods in both hives.

WOW!!! Looks like a little rain will do a hive good.... :-D
To bee or not to bee that is the question I wake up to answer that every morning...

luvin honey

I had the same thing happen here! It was the day I first saw what turned out to be drones coming in and out of the hive, so I thought my hives were being robbed by giant honey-bee-like insects!! :D
The pedigree of honey
Does not concern the bee;
A clover, any time, to him
Is aristocracy.
