We have mimosa blooming in the Chattanooga Valley.  I did a search on here for mimosa with no luck.  They are suppose to be great for hummingbirds and butterflies, but how about bees?

I miss those mimosa trees the most of all. I grew up in California in Exeter that's in the San Joaquin valley the heart of the orange belt. And there were lots of them and when they bloomed bees, hummingbirds, and every nectar sucking critter showed up and the smell was amazing.

My neighbor has a mimosa in her front yard. Next time I'm there, during the bloom, I'll see if there are any bees in it.

I have mimosa, the bees cover them. You can watch their flight straight from the tree to the hive. Bumble bees like them too. Also the birds. I've watch birds fly from limb to limb snatching bees.
Believe!

I have a huge mimosa in my driveway and believe it or not, I never looked to see if the bees were on it.  I will check now.
