I want to have a few frames of honey in the freezer for emergency feeding in late winter. Should I just keep some of my mediums from the honey super, or should I swap out some frames from my upper deep with some new ones? I don't currently have any extra frames that are already drawn out. I have one strong hive to work with, and one weaker hive which I don't want to rob from.
Thanks for the advice!

Mediums would be easier to store in your freezer,  and you can feed mediums into deeps and/or medium supers.  Deeps can't be fed into medium supers if the need should arise :(

Thanks Robo,
That was what I was thinking. Also, I don't want to give the girls all that extra work drawing out the new frames right now!

Wouldn't life be easy with all the same size frames? ;)

Save a couple frames to see what they look like in Oct. You can always feed them sugar water also.

38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39: For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40: And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation
