Haagen-Dazs ice cream. Yeah, they've had the URL on their packaging for almost a year and a half, now. When CCD started first being reported, they were extremely fast about changing their packages to include a brief blurb about bees and a link to this web site. They had this up and going so fast, I often wonder if the media didn't first hear about CCD by some reporter idly reading his package of Haagen-Dazs ice cream.

In addition to Haagen-Dazs, Burt's Bees (lip balms and soaps) and at least one nationwide bakery chain are doing Good Things ^TM for the bees. I just wish they'd all do it together instead of going about it ad-hoc.

I really enjoyed watching everything bloom out and fruit - very pretty graphics and they seemed to go on longer than any I had ever seen before - thanks for sharing :)

I think its great that hagen Daaz is doing this.....But.....unfortunately......I cant afford their ice cream. And I LOVE Ice cream! I like "Banana pudding" flavor right now.....later on I'll change my favorite flavor to something else.
If only they would drop their prices. :(

I like the ice cream too much! I get this brand about twice a year, as it is expensive. I still buy the other brands though. Might be the reason that I do not wear size 5 clothes anymore. They need to put a label on there that ice cream is addictive.

At the state fair they sell honey ice cream that is really good. Expensive, but I still get some each year for 'old times sake'. I think that it is the state bee club that sells it, so the profit goes to a good cause. The honey being shown at the fair is right next to it and they have a great observation hive set up.

I got some free seeds from Burt's Bees last year or the year before. I planted them near the home bee yard and this year I think all of the plants came up on their own. I have one pretty sunflower out there that is about head high and loaded with pollen and bees! I am going to keep the seed from it to plant next spring, as I never seen so much pollen on one sunflower before. The bees seem to really like it as well.
