Late summer feeding

Is it normal for my bees to suck down 2 qts of 2:1 syrup a day???
I know HBH smells and tastes great but this is a little exessive!

Glad I oaded up on sugar when it was on sale... ;)

Yes it is very normal for them to suck down 2 quarts in a day during a dearth.  Fill up the tanker bees and pack some into the cells.
