How to kill Drones

The question is simple how can i kill drones in my observation hive without opening it up. Dont care to be humane in this case, the queen is not very good and is laying way to may drones than the hive can handle. I was thinking maybe a bright light and magnifine glass.  :evil: lol But then again i dont want to melt the whole hive.

This post is open to any and all ways that i can do this. Im curious is to what you guys will come up with.  :-P

If your queen isnt good then i don't see where it makes sense to kill the drones. The queen will still continue to produce (as you say excessive) drones Maybe you should just requeen

you should cover your hive when you are not peering into it   :-D

i can't think of anything you can do except let nature take it's course.  they should be kicking drones out soon.  they may not have already done so if you are extending their days with artificial light.

you could open it up and pinch that queen if you can still find one to buy, but in your neighborhood, that might be risky.  if they  make it, requeen in the spring.

hey kid long time no see how you doing. not sure if your mom would allow it in the house but I thought I would let you know the military uses missles to kill drones :-D
