Do they kick out drones as soon as they come out of cell,if it's kicking time ?

Do they kick out drones as soon as they come out of cell,if it's kicking time ? I seen them kicking them out when it looked like they were just hatched or born,which is it ?

i rarely find drone cells in my hives at this time of the year.  the drones that are in the hive are the mature drones.  they are kicked out as winter approaches so that the hive does not wasted stores caring for them.

I have not seen any drone cells in my hives for some time. Same thing in the OH. I think the bees backfill the drone cells first to prevent the queen from laying there too late in the season. The only drones I see being kicked out are the mature ones.

Usually they drag the pupa out before they emerge... and the adults they just drag out.
