So many books printed are geared toward the beginning beekeeper, and I guess that's fine.

However,  I would find a series or collection of books that approach beekeeping from different objectives very interesting.  For example...

A book on migratory/local pollination and/or honey production -

A book on stationary honey production.

A book on home hobby and/or conservation beekeeping- Actually, there are enough similarities due to scale these could both be covered in one book, however, with diligent research and thorough details, conservation beekeeping could be it's own book.  One that I have even thought of pursuing.

I think the management techniques, specific environmental situations and goals for migratory pollination require techniques and methods that do not necessarily apply to the other 'types' of beekeeping I mentioned above.  The same applies for 'stationary' beekeeping and conservation or home hobbyist beekeeping.

As a matter of fact, it is maybe an idea to list the home hobby as an introductory book and the others as a 'next step' type of book that people who after a season or two  (or more depending on the person and their goals and comfort-ability with working with bees.) could take on the additional colonies and work that a larger, more ambitious situation that those 'types' of beekeeping can be.

Now that I think of it, the conservation beekeeping type of book effort really does intrigue me.
