Just vacationed in Laughlin NV, no I can't retire, but was suprised by the amount of bee's working. Went to Katherine Landing and the bees were working small (5") yellow flowers that grow on the beach. I guess they hive in the rocks but could not locate any. Just fun to see action when it's 10 to 20 degrees in Iowa.
Got home and checked my hives, it must haved warmed up some while we were gone, lots of bee poop in the snow. Just thought you all might find this interesting, bees working the desert in Febuary.
