Well I got my package today, and all looks great.

I was however, amazed to discover one lone bee on the outside.  The package is well sealed, so I don't think she's an escapee.

Instead I think she hopped on either at the apiary where the package was packed, or at Kelley's in Kentucky.  Either way she survived the trip to Indiana.

She was looking a bit frail this morning, but now that she's ingested a fair bit of sprayed on syrup I just went downstairs to find her fanning and generally showing off.

Pretty cool.

I hope she sticks around to join the hive in its new home tonight. She's earned a few days R&R somewhere dry and stable.

Dang hitchhikers.

And that is a first time for me hearing something like that.   Amazing that she did not get killed on the way.   I can see, she was yelling "don't leave me behind.   Wait for me!"  Or better yet, "mommy!"

Either that, or, "Hey.  Indiana?  Wait... I'm on the wrong crate.  I'm supposed to be headed for South Carolina.I met this really nice drone, online.  He says he likes, pina coladas and stayin' out of the rain..."
