I was wondering if anybody has used jasco brown wood treatment, sold at Lowes, for treating hives.

Quote "Exterior use only. Kills powder post beetles, prevents termite attack above or below ground. Use as a primer before painting to control warping and swelling. Attractive brown color; great for decks, fences, shakes, roofs and pressure-treated end cuts. Copper naphthenate, low odor, easy water clean-up. "

I don't think I would use it in my hives.  Copper naphthenate still scares me.  Can't use it in your house, would want it in my bee's houses.

I second what Allan said I would not think that is a good idea. I've used that before the smell lasts a long time. There is many great choices for latex paints. You can get reject colors at Lowes and Home Depot cheep.

Just put "copper naphthenate toxicity" in your google search line.   That stuff ain't cool.
