This is the old dairy barn the entrance is under the window.

  This is the entrance

After I removed the old siding

Closer shot, they had comb attached to the siding what a mess but I got them all minus a few guard bees and here 10 days later I verified I had the queen she is a beaut.  I will get a shot of her later.  And thanks to all the advice givers.. JP, Iddee it took me 4.5 to get these suckers out.  But glad today!  Might try another with help from my assistant  ;)

Congrats. Glad to be of some help, anyway.

Only 4.5 hours of hot, sticky, stinging work, and you got a 50.00 swarm of bees, although it wasn't guaranteed to get them.

Now why on earth would anyone think about charging for something that simple and rewarding??      :-D

Removing bees is like eating potato chips... You'll do more. Great job!

Awesome photos!  Thanks for sharing.  I've yet to do my first cutout this year.  Had requests but no one willing to pay.  Although kinda fun, I'm not doing that amount of work for free!
Ninja, is not in the dictionary.  Well played Ninja's, well played...

I can now understand why.  Holy smokes.  My wife cough cough (assistant) says if we can get more bees for free she will help.  I believe her but I also saw her tense up that first time these same bees got a little rowdy.  That was a short moment by the 3rd frame she was pushing me out of the way.  Thats why she wants me to rescue some more so she can have "her" hive. Gotta love a well lit smoker and and bee excited spouse.   X:X
