Newbee here.  I am very excited to have a 2 deep hive stuffed with bees, and a super with probably 60-70% drawn out and full of uncapped honey.  It looks like they are just starting to cap it.  Couple of questions:

1)  How long does it take them to cap the honey?
2)  When can I add a 2nd super?  Should I have just put two supers on to begin with?
3)  If I add another super, where do I put it, above or below the other super?

Thanks for the info.

For capping the honey, it depends on the weather, the flowers, and the bees.   They may cap most of it over night or it could be a while.  I would go ahead at 70% and add another super.   Put it under your current super.    When the bees are capping the top super, you can move the frames around to help them out.   Put the outside frames in the middle to help them out if it looks like the outside frames are left out by the bees.
