Anyone have plans for a solar wax melter that is so great you want to share them?

Thanks

I made a Video on two styles of solar wax melters. I think this will be useful to you.

The bigger one is made out of discarded fence planks. Cheap, easy, very practical. Use plexiglass and not glass. That was my one regret.

Check out this video.  I made this and it works great for me with the few hives I have.

I too followed Linda's Bees instructions. It's been 90+ in Ohio. I put the melter in my car which is parked in the sun at work during the day. Wax is melting at good rate.

Linda, I love the video, but the link to the site with the plans for the solar wax melter is dead.

Can you (or anyone else) link to a good site for wax melter plans?
The bees would be no help; they would tumble over each other like golden babies and thrum wordlessly on the subjects of queens and sex and pollen-gluey feet. -Palimpsest

it seems to be fixed

Linda states the outside temps should be upper 70's
I read and witnessed that it could be much cooler out
and still work.
I think as long as you have sunshine and a sealed lid
your SWM will work
FWI -Linda is a much better Beek than I IMHO
I just think what was said, was in honesty, she may have never tried
using it in cooler weather or meant optimal temp
