Me and Schawee had a ball yesterday, going down to the marsh to a place called Shell Beach in a town named Ycloskey.

This colony was between floor joists in a raised fishing camp about 25' up in the air.

I was hired by the president of the club who said the bees were in the exterior wall. They were actually under one of their bathrooms.

We cut the floor out and removed the most gentle colony folks.

We had shrimp Po Boys for lunch!

That was very mellow, very peaceful to watch. Nice surroundings.

Did you have to put that bathroom back together again??

Annette, we put the plywood floor back down. They will be glueing the vinyl section back in place and putting the toilet back.

It was a very nice camp with a beautiful view.

After we removed the bees and set them up, Schawee and I settled back in lazy chairs and watched Nascar on a huge TV.

We were pulling for Tony Stewart but his car had problems, oh well.

It was a great day!

Way to go Shawee on the queen. :-D Looks like you got to think fast when you work with JP.

JP I see you really like using the multi tool. I've been looking at getting on for other things around the house. On a scale of 1-5 5 being one of the must have tools how would you rate it?

Thanks for another fun video.

JP

On a scale of 1-5 for someone like me who removes bees from all sorts of construction, I'd give it a 10 out of 5!

Reason being it gets me into tight places and makes very fine, narrow cuts which also means less sawdust flying everywhere as well.

Yesterday I cut out a floor section that was 3/4" thick, no problem.

For cutting lap boards, 1/4 rounds, base boards, fascia, etc... where clean seams are needed its the way to go.

Another great video.  And Schawee, the next time you get grief from being eagles eyes and seeing that queen, remember, you can always put her back in the old hive to make it fair.

JP, after Schawee caught the queen, you should have gone fishing and let him finish the job.  :-P

Man JP I need to head out your way and learn the ways of the bee wisperer.  and Schawee you a bee wisperer too.   8-)
To bee or not to bee that is the question I wake up to answer that every morning...

Nice touch!  I like the relaxing music at the end that couldn't quite drown out the bickering, it was rather like trying to relax in the hammock with a cat scratching my leg.  :-D

I enjoy these videos!
