A man in ireland had his dog die and it just tore him up so.  He picked the dog up in his arms and carried him down the long road, all the way to the nearest catholic church.

upon entering the church, he says "faddah, me dog has died. could ye bury him please?"

The priest turned slowly around and walked over to the man and looking from across the aisle saw how poorly dressed the man was and in what poor shape the dog was in.

At that he told the man " if ye go on bout two more miles,  ye'll find the lutheran church.  They'll be able to help ye."

"OK, faddah," the man says, very disappointed, and turns toward the doors to go outside.

he turns back around just before he's about to leave and asks the priest " fadduh, do ye think five hundred dollars should be enough fer to bury me dog with them?"

The priest walks quickly up to the man at the entry and takes the door, ushering the man back inside as he says "my son, why dinna ye tell me your dog was catholic?"

This forum is for jokes. That was probably a true story.  :-P
