Took a look today and there is NOTHING except a lot of bees.  No brood, no stores, no pollen, but the upper deep is full of brood and stores.

I let them rob out a super over the last few days, and thought they'd fill top & bottom, but it looks as if they picked the super clean and put everything in the top.

Is this normal?

Overall the hive was pretty "hot" today (overcast, but not rainy).

Thanks.

They store honey over the brood.  As they build honey stores, they move the brood down.   If you want, flip the boxes so that the empty box is on top, then feed then.

One of my hives did that too. I just switched them around so the brood was on the bottom. Supers were empty, so I took them off. Am going to start feeding tomorrow. Another hive had both deeps empty and all the brood was in the bottom super! I removed the bottom brood box. Will start feeding them also. Forgot to move the super with brood to the bottom; will do that too.
