68 degrees yesterday and bees out in force. So far we've had temps down in the single digits up to 68. Crazy weather. Three hives doing well so far in Mt. Washington KY. Pembroke

Ya, very warm here today also.   From crazy frozen last couple of weeks to where we did not even put wood in the heater last night.

I inspected mine for the first time in several months and both are doing fine, although one had about 3 times as many bees as the other and a larger brood pattern.  Still had honey on the outside frames.  I did my annual oxyalic acid treatment (liquid) for mites and put the oil trays in.  We never go completely broodless here so Jan is as good as it gets.

Made it to 51 degrees here South of Boston. All our hives were active with the girls out flying. Let's hope a few of them are still doing it come the end of March. :-D

Got up to 45 and cloudy, day before yesterday. I worked a twelve hour shift so I couldn't see my girls, but I looked today (It is 9 today) and there about ten dead bees out in front of my one hive, so they must have been out.

We were very lucky to get a day that reached 48 today.  Last year in southeastern Connecticut we went a month and a half without the girls flying.  It really stressed out the hives.
