Nice hive.  I see you are using the Swedish national colors.  Do you have connections to Sweden?

BTW, very nice thermometer.  Infrared I presume.  Do you have a link to a source for it?

Ha ha ha!!!

The nation of Sweden's flag is YELLOW and Blue.

The Wolverine's nation flag though in MAIZE and Blue  :-D

Yes it is a IR thermometer.

Hey Frameshift, the IR thermometer is from HaborFreight.  It is a year or two old but I'm going to try to add a link in here to the new version.  Looks like about $25.

Sorry if my Wolverine comment didn't make sense to you.  I'm from Michigan, went to school at the University of Michigan, and our school colors are Maize and Blue.  Hence the coloration of my hive.  But, yeah, you're right, it may also pass for Sweden.  We'll have to get Finski's opinion on that!

Living this far North, we don't absolutely have to have a white hive to reflect the heat load from the sun like you do down there.  Hence I've painted my hives a little more colorfully than some traditional hives.

Oh no, I understood the Wolverine reference immediately.  UNC's colors are "sky blue" and white.  That's how we know God is a Tarheel.  Otherwise, why would he make the sky Carolina Blue.  :-D
