I did some research for my website and thought I'd post these here, for the beeks who are suffering the lulls of winter.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Came across a mini documentary on a Aussie beekeeper with an old lumber mill. Give it a watch. About 5 minutes.

and a totally wacky hive with wacky people here:

and an artsy short 2 minute video about living in the 'now' due to beekeeping

and a short interview of an Arabian bee farm

Thanks for the videos.   Good stuff to watch.

Not sure what's more strange the hives or the guy who makes them. He says he lets the bees make the comb sections the way they want, but the bees really only have so many choices as they do in any man made hive.

Any pluses, minuses you care to share about Vimeo?

Yes, Vimeo is known as the high brow video hosting for the artsy world. More for film making students than anything else.
This is not the place to post crappy, shaky, or pointless videos.  Even I am reluctant to post a video here. Although, I'm working on one.

I just spent a little time viewing some of the videos posted on Vimeo and couldn't agree with you more. What they are presenting there is truly top notch material, truly amazing quality, have to say, very intimidating to say the least. The people posting on there are true artists and students of film making.

Can you think of any other venues I might explore?

There are a multitude of video hosting sites, each focused on a different niche.

This site is a good synopsis.
