How I make/sell honeycomb

Being a total newbee at this game I started selling honey at my gate (do live in a convienent spot for this) not so much for profit but to cover my costs

Over spent to buggery on setting up bought hives ,supas ,extractor ,bee suit ect ect ect all up prob $3000 - $3500 unfortunatly am a sorta boots an all person (much to my wifes chagrin) should note am retired on a small Gov old age pension so money aint that easy to come by.But ended up with all the gear I needed and some I didnt and 16 hives and a irate and it turns out allergic to bee stings wife (but bleep happens as they say)

But saw there was a oportunity to maybee increase sales a bit by including honey comb in the sales pitch

So got made some half height boxes (half height to what most of you call deeps I think) 8 frame modelst hen divided then in half (partitioned em) made \aquired some half size wooden frames  so there were 16 per box (see photo 1)

Put in a small amount of wax to give em a start bout a 1" or so then had trouble getting it to stay in the groove in the frame. Being a old hobbyist n radio ham soldered em in with a hot iron an it worked well see photo 2\

Put em out bush on the blackberrys and to my suprise the Bees seemed to like the idea cause they filled em up real quick so cut em out of the frames stuck em in a plastic box thingy and sell em for $8.00 each (see photo 3) aint sold many yet cause only done it this week but do live in hope

Just gotta another couple boxes made up cause I reckon 16x8 is $128 a frame and better money than honey
